car broken into
on Sunday our car was broken into, really stinks, the whole drivers side window was smashed in....but it is fixed now ;-)
wish i could take a fist to the person that did it.....how rude, no respect for anyone's property...it is very frustrating; and hard to understand why someone would do something so stupid! But it is over now, and thankfully our car was not stolen, so there is much to be thankful for. We take such little things for granted, like car windows, they are very important you know....it is pointless to lock your car when you have no window...lol...I am so thankful for our new window.

scrapbook for Anthony
I have been making a scrap book for Anthony- it is his belated birthday present that is still not finished- it was turned into a huge undertaking, and I only manage to have time to work on it when in my spare time, which is very little. my mother in-law posts all her scrap book stuff on her blog so I thought it would be fun to post pages as they come along and are completed, they are all out of order, for i work on pages that i have materials for. the final scrapbook will be in a nice chronological order.

the movie below...if you scroll down, is a 16 mm film that i shot and edited by hand (splices in all) last spring...lots of work. A lot of the stark contrast was lost when it was transferred from film to digital on a mini-dv. video black and whites are grayed out, true film is so much richer...check out the film...it's called "The Silent Dancer," starring Mauriah Kraker, a beautiful young lady filled with much talent and the freest spirit i have ever known, lov ya girl!

job!
hurray, Anthony will be working at Brady Corporation as an intern in the technical support area. I am so proud of him, he is so smart and has worked so hard to get a job. He will start working May 1st. The job will be part time during the school year, and full time during the summer. Which will be perfect since I am taking two summer classes and I also have my internship this summer.

summer intern!
this summer i will be an intern for Dale and Katie who own SR Studios and Artist Group, both are self taught photographers. I will be assisting them and the other photographers with weddings. I am super excited, it will be a great learning experience. check out their websites. they have some great images.

digital variation on a once 35mm print....the images below where also 35mm, that i developed and printed in the dark room....i have spent many hours in the dark room, i dont think i could ever get bored of it, most time spent in the dark room before leaving: 7 hours....lol...great fun ;-)
