ITALY!


Ok so Anthony is on the phone right now with his best friend Eric, who is in Saudi Arabia living in a huge house (huge- i have seen the pictures) any who he is moving to Italy in May...and well we are for sure going to visit him for at least 2 weeks (he is flying us out) woot woot!!!!!!!! He is going to get a house and we may just move in for a year!! Woo hoo! Well that would be a perfect graduation present! And a great opportunity for me to spend time abroad taking photos! So needless to say i am super excited cus we are going to Italy!!!!!!!!!!

another border example

i just love this picture of Alicia and her sister that i took...i added another border to this image as well...this border is even more simple than the last and i love how it give it a more traditional look of black and white wet photography, as if it was printed with the borders of the negative. so rustic looking!

life verse.....

so it is a little bit past my bedtime, but my tummy is feeling queezy and i can't sleep. pretty sure it is from alterra coffee, i went at 7pm with Stephanie, and i usually always get plan old tea of which i rather enjoy and is super cheap, this time i decided to be adventurous and order a mocha blend (cold) with whip cream, well now my tummy hurts (way to sweet- don't recommend it) and buzzed from all the coffee that was in it (i never drink coffee so i am really feeling it). i just want to go to bed.

anywho, needless to say I am up and not feeling good, so i wanted to share something.

i little more than a year ago a wonderful girl and friend named Erica recommended finding a life verse, I have often wondered what my life verse was, but was never to sure, nothing really stood out to me, but maybe i just was not looking hard enough for it. but i thought i would be patient and it would come be revealed. well i have this cd that i like to listen to, it is a memory bible verse song cd (i know sounds cheezy) but it really helps to memorize verses. anywho, one of the verses on the cd i have always liked a lot. well than this Sunday at church pastor Danny read the same verse again, and it hit me, this i think is my life verse. it is so perfect for me, mainly since i am always at worry, and often doubt myself, my abilities, who i am, and what i am doing, and my purpose in life! so this is perfect, i shall write it to my soul and bind it to my heart. drum roll please.......

"I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do everything through Him who gives me strength."

car broken into...again!

Anthony and I woke up on this beautiful Monday morning only to find our car had been broken into once again! It was even parked on the good street right in front of our apartment building. So frustrating. So he was an hour late to work, but on the high note we are getting faster at cleaning it up, soon we will be experts, we went from a 5 hour episode, to a 1 hour and like 20 minute clean up session, a much improvement. Luckily insurance will pay for 1-800-glass which i highly recommend, they come right to you. Oh well, the day is not over yet, it has yet to be a good one! I think i will do some scrap booking, and do some design and research on printing company! Hope everyone's Monday is off to a better start than ours ;-)

exciting news!

So today I went and met with a Rebecca, a bride who I am going to be photographing her and her future hubby's wedding in September. We had a grand time. We went and checked out the locations and just chatted, the church is so beautiful! It is this little brick chapel, with Nordic type decor to it, it is going to be really fun to photograph in!

Also- Anthony met with his boss today, and his summer internship at Heartland Advisor's has turned into a continuous job until he graduates school, at that point they will have another meeting with his boss and look into a future full time position!! Horray, no more job searching anymore! So for his last year of school he will be working part-time at Heartland!! I am so proud of him.....did I mention that he loves working there, he loves the people, Heartland is all he talks about now days! It is good that he loves his job so much, so I am extremely happy for him.

On Wednesday I had the privilege to take pictures of Alicia and her darling little girl. It was so fun, Kjerstin is just adorable. She has many expressions, and quite the personality for a little one year old, she is always so happy ;-) And Alicia is a beautifully pregnant with another one on the way! Seriously pregnant woman just glow with beauty! Check out a few favorites that I have uploaded below.
