LETS HAVE A TEA PARTY!

I love this book my mother-in-law gave me for Christmas- it has the coolest ideas for traditional and non-traditional tea parties- it even has a recipe for a "black tea martini" as well as menu's for every sort of party, bridal showers, little girl tea parties, picnic tea, russian tea, gentleman's tea, the list goes on, tea for all occasions! now that is my kind of book.

featured above is "bibb lettuce, avocado, and green apple salad with sesame-green tea vinaigrette" you'll have to get the book to see the recipe- sounds amazingly yummy

ohhh yummm, "mini chicken and arugula sandwiches"

a senior session and a side note!

first the side note- cute little john is getting baptized today! hurray! actually i need to dash and get ready for it...it is tonight after the evening mass. stay tuned as i will have photos from this- he will be all dolled up in a cute white outfit- lets see how long it stays white before it gets dirty! ;-)

here we have some fabulous photos of the dashingly handsome Senior Adam. He will be graduating from high school this spring....he is a serious young man- but i managed to get some smiles out of him- but only a few ;-) i don't think any of these are of a smiling matter- only serious!

Wet Lab work....

full size prints of the mini one below...

(sorry these are out of order) but blogger makes it difficult to get things in order the way i want! i did a series- that took up most of my work for the semester- it is about many things i guess- femininity, domestic roles, fertility, emptiness and loss. my good friend Joelle was my model! thanks JoJo for sitting through all my crazi photo sessions- your a great sport!

a series i did of my husband Anthony...above..below are double exposures- continued ideas from my work on loss and fertility...

just wanted to share a bit of my photos from this falls wet lap work- everything here has been shot on 35 mm film, developed with care and printed in the dark room by yours truly Brittany- it is a labor of love. click on the images to make larger- to see more detail!

Also- Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas- i have lots of updates to make now that i finally have some free time!! check back for more posts!
